On June 26th & 27th 2009, a Hollywood movie production film crew arrived in Olean to film two scenes from the
movie, "LITTLE CHICAGO", under the watchful supervision of author, Carl Veno.  The first scene was filmed
using the popular Village Green as the backdrop.  The second scene, filmed the following day, used the west
side of the 200 Block of North Union St. for additional scenes along with a Prohibition Parade which formed on
Laurens St. and marched around the corner past the filming crew positioned on the corner of Union and
Hamilton St. These pictures depict the filming at both locations. Cameras were also positioned atop
surrounding buildings. The film crew directed the sidewalk onlookers to participate in the background sound.
